Bottary, Ryan

  • Bottary, Ryan
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents experiencing anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental conditions, and behavioral challenges. I have a particular focus on evidence-based treatment for sleep difficulties such as insomnia, bedtime resistance, nightmares, sleep-related anxiety, irregular sleep schedules, and chronic sleep dysregulation.

In addition to therapy, I provide coaching to individuals aiming to optimize their sleep during periods of stress or lifestyle change. This includes support for new parents, people navigating shift work or frequent travel, those pursuing demanding careers or athletic performance, and adults seeking to maintain restorative sleep as they age.

I earned my Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, where I studied how sleep and emotional disorders influence one another. To bring that knowledge directly into clinical practice, I completed postdoctoral respecialization training and earned my Psy.D. in clinical psychology. My goal is to translate cutting-edge research into practical and efficient strategies to help people sleep well in the real world.

I am available for one-time consultation or ongoing treatment, offered in person or via telehealth.
