Weatherford, Jessica
At Catalyst Psychology, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the recommended first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. CBT-I is a structured, evidence-based approach that addresses the patterns that keep insomnia going, including disrupted sleep timing, extended time awake in bed, inconsistent schedules, sleep-related worry, and increasing effort to make sleep happen.
Treatment is active, collaborative, and personalized. We use information about your sleep to develop a focused plan, evaluate progress, and adjust strategies as your sleep becomes more stable. CBT-I is generally a time-limited treatment and is often completed in approximately 7 to 10 sessions, although the length of care depends on your symptoms, goals, and response to treatment.
I work with adults, including college and graduate students, whose sleep has been affected by insomnia, anxiety, stress, or related patterns of mental overactivity. My goal is to help you spend less time monitoring, chasing, or worrying about sleep and develop a more reliable relationship with rest, with more energy and attention available during the day.
I provide telehealth therapy throughout New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and North Carolina, as well as in-person appointments in Newton, Massachusetts.
